Dr. Charlene Wong, MD MSHP is an assistant professor of pediatrics and public policy at Duke University and the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy. She is the Executive Director of the North Carolina Integrated Care for Kids (NC InCK) model. As a pediatrician and health services researcher, her research explores healthcare transformation and health-related behavior change, leveraging principles from behavioral economics and employing a person-centered approach to research and policy. She is a leader in value-based payment models for child and family health. She serves as the Program Director for Health Behaviors and Needs Research in the Duke Children's Health & Discovery Initiative and the Associate Program Director for the National Clinician Scholars Program at Duke. Her research training includes fellowships at the CDC and in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Program.
