Susan Dorr Goold, M.D., M.H.S.A., M.A., Professor of Internal Medicine and Health Management and Policy, studies the allocation of scarce healthcare resources, especially the perspectives of patients and citizens. Her health services research examines public perspectives on health and healthcare spending priorities, the impact of Medicaid expansion on enrollees, their families, and communities, physicians and stewardship, public health ethics and equity, physician reimbursement, and deliberative procedures in bioethics and health policy. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Hastings Center.
