Michelle Richardson is the Director of the Center for Democracy and Technology’s Privacy and Data Project where her team advocates for policies that protect individual privacy, empower users, and advance social justice. Her recent work has focused on consumer privacy, Internet of Things policy, cybersecurity, surveillance, and encryption.
Before CDT, Michelle served as legislative counsel to the ACLU and counsel to the Judiciary Committee of the US House of Representatives.
