Dr. Shashi Kapadia is an Infectious Diseases physician and health services researcher at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. He previously completed an Infectious Diseases Fellowship, a Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency, and his Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation at Weill Cornell. He conducts clinical and health services research focused on the equitable delivery of healthcare to people who use drugs, particularly related to hepatitis C and other infections. His project will examine the uptake in hepatitis C treatment by healthcare providers in and whether treatment completion outcomes are associated with provider characteristics.
