Bon Ku is a practicing emergency physician and Program Manager at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), the agency that delivers health breakthroughs in years, not decades. His work drives high-impact solutions from prototype to bedside, spanning autonomous clinical AI systems and decentralized hospital care delivery to rural areas.
His work sits at the intersection of technology, AI, and human-centered design. He previously launched the first design thinking program at a medical school, co-authored Health Design Thinking, and directed the Health Design Lab at Thomas Jefferson University. He also hosted the Design Lab podcast, named by Fast Company as one of the best podcasts to boost creativity.
