Dr. Jeff Kullgren is a Research Scientist in the Ann Arbor VA Center for Clinical Management Research and an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he is also Associate Director of the National Poll on Healthy Aging. Dr. Kullgren holds undergraduate and medical degrees from Michigan State University and a master of public health degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and was an RWJF Clinical Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kullgren’s research aims to develop innovative and scalable interventions to help patients and clinicians make sound health care decisions. In this work, he uses survey and qualitative methods to identify opportunities for interventions to improve decision-making, and targets these opportunities with novel interventions that translate behavioral science insights.
