Ayesha Johnson, Ph.D., is a subject matter expert in quantitative research analysis and health equity. Dr. Johnson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and her Master of Science degree in Biostatistics from the University of the West Indies, Mona. She received a Fulbright scholarship to complete doctoral training at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Johnson worked with the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County, leading their community health assessment work and many community engagement projects. She has collaborated with various behavioral health initiatives and currently serves as the secretary of the board of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network as well as on the Board of Directors of Adolescents and Children Together for Health. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida.
