Luis A. Rodriguez, PhD, MPH is a Delivery Science and T32 Diabetes Translational Research Fellow at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. Dr. Rodriguez’s research focuses on translating epidemiologic and clinical research for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes at the population level, particularly among marginalized and racial/ethnic minority populations. He is mentored by Drs. Julie Schmittdiel and Richard Grant. Dr. Rodriguez received a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and a master’s degree in Public Health, from the University of California, Berkeley, and a doctorate in Epidemiology and Translational Science from the University of California, San Francisco.
