Krystle Palma Cobian is a senior research analyst at the Coordination and Evaluation Center for the Diversity Program Consortium. The Diversity Program Consortium (DPC) is a network of institutions, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to improve training and mentoring and to enhance individuals' success in biomedical research careers. Previously, Krystle worked as a research analyst at the Higher Education Research Institute and served as team lead for an NIH U01 grant aimed at broadening and diversifying the STEM workforce. Krystle also serves on the operations board of the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science, a center at UCLA aimed at developing diverse leaders in environmental science fields. Her research interests include examining the impact of policies and practices on underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering, math, and medical fields (STEMM), organizational change in higher education, and career development and leadership opportunities for women of color in STEMM. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from UCLA and her master's degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University.
