Eric Racine is Vice President & Head of U.S. Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy at Sanofi. Our passion is to prevent, treat and cure illness and disease throughout life. We are driven to improve the health of communities and to find new solutions for patients by combining breakthrough science with advanced technology.

Eric leads a team that partners with the US advocacy community to improves patient access to breakthrough medicines and vaccines that can transform lives and change the practice of medicine. The team engages with the patient advocacy community from early research throughout the lifecycle to listen to their perspectives, understand what matters most to patients, and champion these patient-centric insights internally and externally.  The team engages in multiple therapeutic areas including rare diseases, rare blood disorders, oncology, transplant, diabetes, cardiovascular, neurology, immunology, as well as vaccine preventable diseases.

Throughout his career, Eric has led teams that deliver innovative collaborations across external stakeholders centered on the needs of patients. He has held progressive leadership positions in U.S. and global roles, spanning medical marketing, market access, healthcare policy, patient advocacy and public affairs.  Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Eric held various positions in clinical pharmacy in the U.S. and Canada including academic, patient care and management roles.

Eric holds an Executive MBA from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University in the U.S., and a bachelor of sciences-pharmacy from Laval University in Quebec, Canada.
