Dr. Katelyn Jetelina is an epidemiologist and one of the nation’s leading scientific communicators. She is the CEO of 0.05 Findings, which publishes the widely read public health newsletter Your Local Epidemiologist and houses innovative programs like The Evidence Collective, a network of influencers amplifying evidence-based health information across social media, and Project Stethoscope, a program designed to listen to the concerns, confusion, frustrations, and questions of people on the ground and channel that feedback into the systems where health decisions are made. In addition to her work at 0.05 Findings, Dr. Jetelina serves as an adjunct professor at Yale, sits on the medical board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is a member of the Lancet Commission on Trust and Health. A former advisor to three CDC Directors, she continues to counsel multiple nonprofit health organizations, and her contributions have earned national recognition, including being named to TIME100’s list of the Most Influential People in Health.
