Mikayla Meachem joined SisterLove as a summer intern in 2022 now she serves as the Communications Specialist. Mikayla graduated from Pace University with a degree in Peace and Justice Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies and minors in Criminal Justice and Nonprofit Studies. Her education in human rights, nonviolent principles, gender and politics, intersectionality, and racial justice has given her the background and tools to study and advocate for sexual and reproductive justice. As the Communications Specialist at SisterLove Inc., she combines her skills in advocacy and research to write newsletters, blog posts, and social media content on reproductive rights, public health, abortion bans, and HIV.
