Nina Gummadi is a board-certified pediatric physician completing her critical care fellowship at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. She completed medical school at Boston University and pediatric residency training at the  University of Chicago during which time she obtained a Masters of Arts in Public Policy at the Harris School of Policy. Her health services research interests center around the care for medically complex and technology-dependent children. She hopes to investigate resource utilization, costs, and disparities in care for this population with a specific interest in the impact of Medicaid waivers across states. In addition to this work, Nina aims to impact policy through legislative advocacy related to access to care and injury prevention.
