Coen Sutton is an intern at AcademyHealth, where he supports research, program development, and strategic initiatives that advance the organization’s mission to improve health and the performance of the health system through evidence. In this role, he assists with projects that strengthen globally informed learning and explore how international perspectives can inform U.S. health systems and policymaking. He works closely with AcademyHealth staff across teams to develop materials, coordinate activities, and contribute to initiatives that elevate the value of health services research.
Coen is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management and Policy with a concentration in policy at Georgetown University, where he also plays Division I football. He is expected to graduate with honors in December 2025. Through his coursework, he has gained experience in health policy analysis and health systems management, producing policy briefs and developing skills in grant writing.
