As Vice President of Tribal Public Health Programs at the National Indian Health Board, Lacey leads national initiatives to advance health equity, workforce development, and culturally grounded healthcare policies for all 574 federally recognized Tribes. With more than 20 years of experience as a therapist, executive leader, and founder of a Tribal nonprofit, she specializes in integrated behavioral health, Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), and strategic planning to strengthen Indigenous health systems.
As a content expert in integrated care, Lacey has developed behavioral health programs in Federally Qualified Health Centers, critical access hospitals, and Tribal communities across Montana. Her work has included advancing coordinated, patient-centered care models, expanding workforce pipelines in partnership with universities and Tribal colleges, and providing national technical assistance. She has also mentored MSW students as a field supervisor and adjunct professor and provided trauma-informed counseling focused on mental health and substance use.
Lacey's leadership is grounded in cultural relevance and sustainability, ensuring that solutions are community-driven and long-term. Beyond her professional role, she am a dedicated wife, mother, auntie-mom, daughter, and sister, with strong commitments to my family, community, and Indian Country.
