As Family Advocate Champion for the Infant Transitional Care Program (HRSA-funded demonstration project through the University of Florida), Jolene brings both personal and professional advocacy expertise to support families of children with medical complexity. As a single mother of two medically complex children, she is a dedicated state and national advocate who partners with healthcare teams to elevate family voices, improve care experiences, and advance family-centered policies and programs for children with special healthcare needs.
