This award goes to Ye Shen, PhD and colleagues Benjamin Sommers, Laura Hatfield, Catherine Hayes, Ankur Pandya, and Nicolas Menzies. Dr. Shen is a graduate of the Harvard PhD Program in Health Policy. Her paper used a microsimulation model to show that 61% of US children were ever enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP by their 18th birthday, while 42% were ever uninsured.
