Inngide Osirus (she/her) is a PhD candidate in the Department Social, Behavioral and Population Sciences at the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health. Her research lives at the intersection of maternal and child health equity, health services research and policy. Prior to her doctoral training, Inngide worked as a Communicable Disease Epidemiologist in local and state public health agencies, supporting infectious disease surveillance and community health initiatives.
As an interdisciplinary researcher, Inngide is committed to translating research into policy and programs that advance justice through meaningful community partnerships and evidence-informed systems change. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a MPH in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and the University of Miami (Go Canes) with a BS in Microbiology and Immunology.
