Harsha Kamineni is a health informatician with a background in dentistry and a strong interest in improving how healthcare data is used to support
patient care. Her clinical experience as a dentist gave her firsthand insight into patient-centered care, preventive health, and the disconnect that often exists between oral health and overall healthcare systems.
Harsha is currently focused on healthcare informatics, with an emphasis on interoperability, FHIR standards, and the integration of medical
and dental records. She is particularly interested in how better data exchange can improve care coordination and reduce gaps between clinical domains. Her work and training have involved healthcare data analysis, claims-based logic, and the use of tools such as SQL and Python.
Harsha enjoys translating clinical problems into structured data solutions that can support quality improvement and decision-making. She is passionate about building stronger collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and informaticians, and contributing to efforts that make healthcare data more connected, meaningful, and equitable.
