Andrew Barnhill, JD, is the Director of Federal Policy for GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world’s largest life sciences and consumer healthcare companies. At GSK, Barnhill is responsible for internal and external thought leadership on legislative issues. He also serves as the company’s official correspondent to PhRMA and BIO, the two leading industry trade organizations. Prior to GSK, Barnhill has experience working for a Member of Congress, at political consulting firm Eleison Group, at Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, and in North Carolina politics. He holds graduate degrees from Duke University and the University of North Carolina.
