Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Dr. Williams received his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Kansas City, Mo. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., where he was selected Chief Resident in Family Medicine. He completed a Primary Care Fellowship there as well. Following his medical training, Dr. Williams came to Southern California where he has lived and practiced since 2000. He has trained resident physicians and medical students and conducted patient-oriented research. Noted by his patients as a very good listener, Dr. Williams cares for the whole family. He brings years of expertise addressing the health concerns of adolescents, women, men, and the often complex issues of aging. He values the whole person – body, mind and spirit and empowers his patients through personal wellness and preventive lifestyles. Dr. Williams and his lovely wife have three children. He is an avid runner, active in his church, and enjoys exploring healthy cuisine.
