Dr. Jing Hao is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Health Services Research in Geisinger. Her research focuses on economic evaluations of health services and programs which aim to improve patient outcomes through promoting personalized/precision healthcare. Specifically, in 1) economic evaluation of risk-stratified cancer prevention and treatment approach, and 2) economic evaluation of genome sequencing and pharmacogenomics. She serves as site-PI and co-Investigator of multiple NIH R01 funded projects in this field. Dr. Hao is a recipient of an Early Career Investigator award from the national Health Care Systems Research Network. She earned her medical degree from Shanxi Medical University, an M.S. in Immunology from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in China. She received M.P.H. and Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management from University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has been on faculty at Geisinger since 2016.
Dr. Hao was a 2014 AcademyHealth Delivery System Science Fellow. Her host site was Geisinger.
