Karen Lasater, PhD RN is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She is a Senior Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics – a world-renowned intellectual hub of health-systems research and policy – and a Research Associate of the Population Aging Research Center at Penn. Her research examines relationships between patient outcomes and the organizational features of nursing. She received her BSN from Quinnipiac University in 2010 and her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015.
