Dr. Wayne Psek is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University. His research and teaching interests cover theoretical and applied fields including organization theory, design and learning; health service and system management and leadership; quality improvement and implementation science. His current research focuses on inter- and intra-organizational learning in health systems, clinical innovation, quality improvement, and delivery system and practice redesign.

He has 10 years of management experience in addition to his clinical experience in international health systems. Dr. Psek received his medical degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa; M.B.A. from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada; and PhD from the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Psek was a 2013 AcademyHealth Delivery System Science Fellow. His host site was the Geisinger Health System.
