AcademyHealth’s Education Council has sponsored a series of webinars on mentoring in order to help students, fellows, new professionals, and experienced investigators navigate mentorship. This webinar presents strategies for fostering and sustaining long-term mentoring relationships, which includes finding a mentor, building a relationship, and knowing when to engage and seek advice. A variety of students and recent graduates talk about their mentoring experiences and how they managed expectations in both formal and informal mentoring relationships. The speakers also discuss their experiences with AcademyHealth mentorship programs and will provide information about how you can take advantage of those opportunities.
