Overview

More than 10 years ago, the Children’s Health Insurance Program sparked investments in child and adolescent healthcare quality measurement and improvement. These investments and subsequent legislation contributed to efforts aimed at improving the portfolio of pediatric quality measures for public and private use that are evidence based and backed by research in real world settings. As the health ecosystem evolves toward emphasis on performance and value, quality measurement and improvement efforts in pediatrics will be increasingly important and visible.

A panel of experts shared their insights on the shifting dynamics in pediatric care and research and discussed lessons learned on how performance measurement and improvement in pediatric care can be further advanced to address health disparities and improve overall outcomes.

This webinar is co-sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, L&M Policy Research, and AcademyHealth.
