Once again, AcademyHealth hosted a successful Health Policy Orientation - this time in person! The Orientation was held in Washington, D.C. at the AcademyHealth office. The Health Policy Orientation is a place to dive into all aspects of health policy. Attendees explore the many mechanisms of the policy process, including its key players (from relevant congressional staff to the three branches of government and federal agencies). Participants will receive an overview of the federal budget process, and insights into state health policy, public opinion, current affairs, including COVID-19, and more.
The Orientation has a small meeting format – designed to encourage collaboration, interaction, and networking among participants and esteemed faculty.
