Tyler G. James, Ph.D., MCHES, is a Research Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan, jointly appointed in the Center for Disability Health and Wellness and Michigan Mixed Methods Program. His research focuses on questions of health equity and healthcare access, utilization, and delivery among people with disabilities. His interests include social and legal epidemiology, clinical informatics, and the use of advanced quantitative methods in mixed methods studies. Dr. James completed his PhD in Health and Human Performance concentrating in Health Behavior at the University of Florida, where he also completed a graduate minor in Research and Evaluation Methodology focused on survey design and psychometrics.
