An advisory committee of the AcademyHealth Board of Directors, the Committee on Advocacy (CAPP) and Public Policy advises staff and the Board on the development of the organization’s guiding principles and policy priorities, the formulation of policy positions, and the implementation of advocacy strategies. Members of the CAPP may also engage in direct outreach and education to key partners and stakeholders, including but not limited to the legislative and executive branches of the federal government.
The CAPP is currently led by Lucia Savage, Chief Privacy and Regulatory Officer at Omada Health.
