QR Codes


Attendees can pick up their badges using their last name or a QR code that will be sent to each attendee via email prior to the conference. Please have your QR code ready as you approach Registration.

Badges are required for all conference activities. Badges should be worn at all times during the conference but remember to remove your badge before leaving the Crystal Gateway Marriott.

Poster Walks


Poster walks are led by expert faculty who review and put into context some of the most significant and thought-provoking research at the conference, while providing a venue for networking and informal discussion.

This year, there is no pre-registration for the poster walks. Each walk will be capped at ten participants and will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. To reserve your spot, please come to the desk outside of the poster hall 20 minutes prior to the start of the walk. (Names will not be taken more than 20 minutes ahead of time.)

Inaugural Lisa Simpson Best Poster Award Voting


Attendees have the opportunity to vote for the Inaugural Lisa Simpson Best Poster Award at this year’s conference. View all nominated posters, representing each conference track, during the sessions listed below or in the agenda here.

  • Poster Session A | Monday, December 9 | 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Poster Session B | Monday, December 9 | 4:15 – 5:30 p.m.

Cast your vote by locating the “poster voting” icon on the mobile app. A winner will be announced prior to poster session C which will take place on Tuesday, December 10 from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m.

Nursing Room


Nursing parents can use the Madison room on the lobby level of the Crystal Gateway Marriott. A key will be available at the registration desk in Sky View (First Level, Crystal Gateway Marriott).

Supporter and exhibitor display tables are open outside of the plenary room (Arlington Ballroom, First Level, Crystal Gateway Marriott) throughout the conference. Visit the display tables during the following times:

Fun Run


Kick off the penultimate day of the conference with a fun and invigorating morning run. Fun Run co-hosts Gila Neta and Sara Malone will lead the group along a 5k route, which participants can easily shorten to a 3k route if they prefer. To participate, you must sign up here.

Our Science of D&I Conference co-chair, David Chambers, will once again be hosting an evening of music and casual conversation to unwind after a great day of sessions at the conference. Orientation to D&I Science


The pre-recorded session, "Orientation to the Science of Dissemination and Implementation," provides information about the Conference and an introduction to the field of D&I Science. If you are a Science of D&I Conference first-timer or are new to the field, we encourage you to watch this orientation video in advance of this year’s conference. First-timers are also encouraged to attend Continue the Conversation: Orientation to the Science of Dissemination and Implementation and the First Timers Unconference.

Pre-Conference Workshops


All pre-conference workshops are available to main meeting registrants for an additional cost. All pre-conference workshops will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA on Sunday, December 8 from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. ET. Though providing proof of vaccination is not required to attend the conference, AcademyHealth encourages all attendees, staff, and contractors to have up to date COVID-19 vaccinations prior to the meeting date to keep all participants as safe as possible.
