Our Why
Cancer touches millions of lives each year, affecting patients, families, and communities across the country. Precision oncology, and biomarker testing in particular, is a powerful tool that can transform a patient’s cancer care journey. We know biomarker testing works, yet most patients are still not getting tested when they should be. Why? Because of system gaps such as insurance coverage and payment policies, test results trapped in data silos, clinical workflows that lack the infrastructure to order and act on testing, and patients who do not know these tests exist. The inconsistency in testing is not one problem. It is a web of connected challenges that demand connected solutions.
Our Path Forward
We are building a movement to transform cancer care so that biomarker testing is a routine, expected, and fully reimbursed component of cancer diagnosis and treatment. No single organization or sector can accomplish these aims alone, so we are bringing together leaders across the continuum of care, coalescing around common goals and a shared vision to move this work forward.
