This report recaps the July 2019 first convening of the Paradigm Project.
The Paradigm Project was established to design and test new ways to ensure health services research (HSR) realizes its full potential to improve health and health care.
In July 2019, members of the Paradigm Project Learning Community—including leading thinkers from health care, philanthropy, open science, technology, and others—assembled into 17 Design Teams, each focused on improving a particular challenge the field faces. Each team collaborated to draft a vision of the optimal HSR enterprise and identify potential innovations to move the field toward that vision.
