B. Cameron Webb, M.D., J.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Public Policy at the University of Virginia and the Director of Health Policy and Equity in the University’s School of Medicine. His primary areas of expertise include social drivers of health, community organizing, and community public health engagement. Previously, he served as a Senior Advisor in the White House Office of the COVID-19 Response, helping to lead efforts for an equitable COVID-19 response throughout the first two and a half years of the Biden-Harris Administration. In this role, Dr. Webb led strategy development and implementation of efforts to ensure equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines and other medical countermeasures across the nation’s hardest hit and highest risk communities. Additionally, he is a founding faculty member of the University of Virginia’s Equity Center, an initiative for the redress of inequity through community-engaged scholarship.
