Casey Balio is a PhD Candidate in Health Policy and Management at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the relationship between policy and organizational structures and performance. She was a part of the 2017 HSRProj Research Competition for Students winning team, which identified a gap in funded research around the intersection between accountable care organizations and health information technology. She is currently finishing her dissertation on the relationship between Medicaid program variations and administrative costs.
