Dr. Chima Ndumele is an Associate Professor of Health Policy at the Yale School of Public Health and a Faculty Associate at the Institute for Social and Policy Studies at Yale University. He has published extensively on Medicaid, the broader safety-net, and the science of quality improvement, including work featured in leading policy and health services journals such as JAMA, Health Affairs, and Health Services Research. Dr. Ndumele serves as a member of the Connecticut Advisory Board for Transparency on Medicaid Costs and Quality in addition to several other national academic and research advisory boards. In 2010, Dr. Ndumele was part of the inaugural class of Aetna/Academy Health Diversity Scholars, a program focused on fostering the professional development of traditionally underrepresented groups. Dr. Ndumele received his PhD in Health Services Research from the Brown University School of Public Health.
