Daniella Runyambo works as a manager of community initiatives at Refugee Community Partnership. After experiencing firsthand the difficulties in navigating systems without language access, she decided to volunteer within hercommunity as an interpreter. Three years ago, Daniella joined the RCP family as a volunteer and now as a program manager. While her goal is to pursue her education in healthcare, she also has a passion for language justice specifically in health care systems. Daniella did my undergraduate studies in Biology/Neuroscience minor at the University of Maine and is pursuing a Masters in Science. Her role at RCP has her negotiating language access at local institutions, and implementing programs that empower, support, and advocate for families. When she is not working or studying, you can find her leading worship at her church and taking care of her lovely family. Daniella enjoys spending time with friends and family and laughter is her special gift.
Daniella Runyambo is a 2022 grantee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Community Research for Health Equity program, managed by AcademyHealth.
