Donna Shelley is a Professor of Public Health Policy and Management and Co-Director of the Global Center for Implementation Science at the New York University School of Global Public Health. She is an implementation scientist with expertise in tobacco control. Her research focuses on developing and testing strategies for implementing and sustaining evidence-based tobacco use treatment interventions in a range of health care settings in the US and Vietnam and advancing both methods and measurement in this field. She is currently an MPI on two NCI grants, one studying strategies for integration tobacco use treatment in HIV care settings in Hanoi, Vietnam and the second exploring factors that influence implementation and sustainability of tobacco cessation treatment in lung cancer screening programs.
