Dr. Erin Rogers is an Assistant Professor of Population Health at NYU Langone Health and a Health Science Specialist with the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System. Her research aims to reduce tobacco-related health disparities, with a focus on smokers with behavioral health conditions and smokers living in poverty. In particular, her research seeks to identify gaps in tobacco treatment for smokers with psychiatric diagnoses and to develop interventions that enhance the implementation of tobacco use treatment into behavioral health settings. In addition, she studies economic determinants and costs of tobacco use and develops interventions to reduce financial distress as a barrier to cessation in low-income people who smoke.

Dr. Rogers received a BS in psychology from the University of California San Diego, an MPH in health services management from the University of California Los Angeles, and a DrPH in health policy and management from the City University of New York Graduate Center.
