Joanne Constantine, Ph.D., M.P.H. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in child population health and health services research at the Susan B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research Center (CHEAR), in the Division of General Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Constantine’s research focuses on the intersection of health policies, access to care, health outcomes, and social determinants of health. Dr. Constantine is specifically interested in health services and policy research addressing inequities in child health and employs quasi-experimental research designs and econometric methods focused on causal inference. Dr. Constantine earned her Ph.D. in Health Services and Policy, with a focal area in Health Economics from the University of Iowa, and her Master of Public Health degree from the American University of Beirut.
