Katie Corvey is a DrPH Candidate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the current Chair of the Child Health Services Research Interest Group Advisory Committee. She also holds an MPH with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from UAB. Her work focuses on insurance for children, particularly those with special health care needs. She has conducted research in conjunction with Alabama Medicaid and CHIP, and is currently investigating the adequacy of employer-sponsored insurance for children with special health care needs.
