Kevin Griffith is an applied health policy researcher, a PhD candidate in the Department of Health Law, Policy & Management at the Boston University School of Public Health, and a statistician at the VA Boston Healthcare System. His primary areas of research interest are 1) improving incentive designs for public programs; 2) increasing access to care, especially for our nation’s veterans; 3) using risk prediction to enhance targeting of therapies and public health interventions; and 4) the use of economic analyses to improve value in health. His work has been published in a variety of journals including Health Affairs, Maternal & Child Health, Academic Pediatrics, and the American Journal of Managed Care. Prior to his graduate studies, Kevin worked as a behavioral research scientist for the U.S. Army and Department of Defense where he evaluated the costs and outcomes of interventions to improve mental health & resilience in active duty soldiers.
In 2019, Mr. Griffith was awarded the Alice S. Hersh Student Scholarship to attend the AcademyHealth National Health Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.
