Kristi Swanson is a Senior Health Services Analyst in the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.  In her role, Kristi supports a variety of research projects in the area of health care delivery research.  Her expertise and research interests include analysis of longitudinal data, including both clinical and claims data, evaluation of new care approaches (e.g., treatment, services, technology, care models, etc.), quality of care, patient safety, cancer research, impact of policy and guidelines on health care utilization and outcomes, and more.  Kristi is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, as well as the University of Iowa and carries a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in biostatistics.  She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota pursuing a degree in Health Services Research, Policy & Administration with a focus on clinical outcomes research.
