Kristin Paulson is the Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC), designated administrator of the Colorado All Payer Claims Database in Denver, CO. In this role, she works with health care facilities and providers, community leaders, and advocacy groups to design ways to give organizations the tools they need to improve care, improve quality of life, and reduce health care costs.  Her work and research focus on palliative care; care transitions; demonstrating the return on investment from social, non-medical interventions; and finding new opportunities to translate available data into information to transform care. Ms. Paulson focuses on expanding the role of data and evidence in innovation to improve health and reduce costs in the health care system.
