Lauren Campbell, M.A., Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at NORC at the University of Chicago. Dr. Campbellā€™s work centers on creating claims-based spending, utilization, and quality measures in evaluations of Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Models. Campbell manages teams in designing analytic plans and conducting multivariable analyses using national claims, administrative, and assessment data. Campbell leads the delivery of analytic results, including development of technical reports, manuscripts, and research briefs, and presents findings to federal clients, stakeholders, and clinician panels. Prior to joining NORC, Campbell led quality measure testing, validation, and public reporting tasks to support the Skilled Nursing Facility Quality Reporting Program. She also co-led and managed quantitative tasks for clinical review, reclassification, and recalibration of CMS-Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) risk adjustment models used in Medicare Advantage.
