Rachel Bleiweiss-Sande, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research is focused on the role of processed foods in the diets of underserved children through the lens of food classification, consumer perceptions, and associations between processed food consumption and health outcomes. Dr. Bleiweiss-Sande holds a master’s degree in Nutrition Communication and a Ph.D. in Nutrition Communication, Interventions & Behavior Change from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University.
