Samuel Hohmann, Ph.D., MS-HSM, is a Senior Research Analytics Director at Vizient. He has previously served as the Director of the Center for Clinical Effectiveness at the Loyola University Health System; the Vice President of Research and Statistics at QuadraMed; and the Assistant Vice President for risk management information services, and Executive director of the Institute for Clinical Risk Management Studies with MMI Companies.
He earned his Ph.D. in bioengineering from the University of Chicago, Illinois, his M.S. in Health Services Management from Rush University, and has a B.S. in Chemistry with a math/physics minor from the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana.
He has 100 refereed journal publications over last 25 years, numerous presentations on various aspects of health care delivery, and has been co-PI and project manager on several federally funded research projects.
