Stephanie Loo is a current Ph.D. student in Health Services Research in the Department of Health Law, Policy, and Management at Boston University School of Public Health. Her interests lie in identifying the social determinants of physical and mental illness in marginalized populations, with past mixed-methods research in HIV, cross-cultural leadership during mass casualty incidents, sexual gender minorities and forcibly displaced communities. Stephanie previously worked as Project Director of the Data and Informatics Team at The Fenway Institute in Boston, MA and worked as a consultant for The World Bank, Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard Chan School, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She received her B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University and M.Sc. in Global Health and Population from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
