Mr. Guo is the Health Innovation & Technology Associate for the Jewish Healthcare Foundation (JHF). In this role, he supports the Foundation on projects in patient safety, workforce development, women’s health, and health innovation. He has a broad interest in the future transformation of healthcare through digital health and technology. As a core member of the patient safety team, he supports the national effort to establish a new independent federal agency, the National Patient Safety Board (NPSB), and leads key elements of our regional initiative to position Pittsburgh as an innovative hub for healthcare safety technology and autonomous solutions. Prior to joining JHF, he was an implementation consultant at Gateway Health Plan, a Medicaid Managed Care Organization, supporting a multi-sector initiative (Thrive18) to address the social determinants of health in the Northside communities of Pittsburgh. Mr. Guo earned his bachelor’s in decision science with a minor in healthcare policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University.
