Tami Moore is co-director of the Center for Public Life @ OSU-Tulsa (CPL), and an associate professor in the School of Educational Foundations, Leadership, and Aviation at Oklahoma State University.  Dr. Moore received her doctoral degree from Washington State University, with a focus on the critical, yet underexamined, historical, socio-economic, and cultural forces which shape partnerships among communities and anchor institutions such as universities and health care systems.  She is currently working with community partners on the development of a culturally-sustaining community organizing model synergizing human, historical and cultural resources within communities to address inequities in health outcomes across a metropolitan area.

Tami Moore is a 2022 grantee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Community Research for Health Equity program, managed by AcademyHealth.
