Yidan (Eden) Cao is a PhD candidate in the Department of Learning Health Sciences at the University of Michigan Medical School. Her research explores the intersection of clinical informatics and social determinants of health in the context of learning health systems, with the goal of advancing health and healthcare equity for all patients. Yidan earned her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, focusing on health policy and health services research for marginalized populations. She has presented her findings at various research conferences, including the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting and the Annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health.
